Thammasat Advanced Medical Center

Thammasat Advanced Medical Center

Thammasat University Hospital is pleased to have received the royal grace from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), who graciously bestowed the name "Thammasat Chalermprakiat Hospital." Construction began during the time of Professor Khunying Nongyao Chaiseri, Dean of Thammasat University, through the faith and generosity of the descendants of M.R. Suwaphan Sanitwong, the Thai Military Bank, the Thammasat Chalermprakiat Hospital Foundation, Thammasat University alumni, and the Thammasat community and the public. The hospital was overseen by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). The foundation stone laying ceremony took place in 1986. Importantly, His Majesty clearly demonstrated his approval of the efficiency and effectiveness of Thammasat Chalermprakiat Hospital. "This hospital needs to provide care for patients with this disease not only for the local community, the industrial workers, but also for the general public who live in remote areas."
